Connect California Homes Raises Over $1,000 for Culinary Angels
At Connect California Homes, we know what a privilege it is to be part of the Pleasanton community. Giving back to the neighborhoods we serve is a core value of our team. That’s why we launched Connect to a Cause, our quarterly initiative designed to support local causes and inspire others in Pleasanton to get involved.
This October, our team went GOING PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As local Pleasanton business owners, this cause touches each of us personally, and it was important to us to show our support in a meaningful way.
Throughout the month, we shared our personal stories and reasons for supporting this cause on social media, engaging with residents and neighbors across Pleasanton. The highlight of the month was our fundraising event, Xtreme Music Bingo, held on October 27th, 2022, at BottleTaps in Pleasanton.
During the event, 15% of BottleTaps’ profits were donated directly to Culinary Angels, a nonprofit providing healthy meals to those battling cancer in our Pleasanton community and beyond. We also held a raffle with prizes including tickets to the Livermore Wine Trolley, wine bottles, and a BottleTaps gift card, with all proceeds supporting the cause.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who participated, our Pleasanton fundraiser raised over $1,000 for Culinary Angels! It was incredible to see the Pleasanton community come together, enjoy great food and drinks, and play three rounds of Xtreme Music Bingo. Congratulations to Chuck Deckert, the lucky winner of our raffle prize!
We are so grateful for all of the support from Pleasanton residents, friends, and local businesses. A special thank you goes to Culinary Angels, BottleTaps in Pleasanton, and the Livermore Wine Trolley for making this event possible. The generosity and energy of our Pleasanton community allowed us to make a tangible difference in the lives of people fighting cancer.
