Think outdoor concerts, festive events, local markets, and endless ways to celebrate the summer. Whether you're staying local or exploring something new, there's no shortage of summer fun ahead. Let's take a look at what's happening this July!
JUL 1: Sunset Sip & Stretch at Las Positas Vineyards
Unwind with a gentle outdoor stretch class followed by a glass of estate-grown wine on the patio at Las Positas Vineyards — a relaxed way to start the month.
JUL 1: Open Mic at Pinot's Palette Livermore
Livermore's weekly acoustic open mic night returns to Pinot's Palette in Downtown Livermore. All genres and skill levels are welcome on stage, with Livermore wine, craft beer, and appetizers available at the bar.
JUL 2: Red, White and BOOM! at Pinot's Palette Livermore
A festive, no-experience-required paint night at Pinot's Palette featuring a patriotic, firework-themed canvas — a fun warm-up to the holiday weekend.
JUL 2: Live Music Thursdays at Dust Bowl Brewing Co.
Enjoy local artists, 20+ beers on tap, and no cover at Dust Bowl Brewing's Livermore taproom — the first of five Thursday-night shows this month.
JUL 2–26: Shakespeare in the Vineyard: Hamlet at Darcie Kent Vineyards
SPARC Theater's 20th-anniversary Shakespeare in the Vineyard brings a 1990s-inspired staging of "The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark" to Darcie Kent Vineyards. Performances run Fridays through Sundays at 7:30 PM (dark on July 4), with a Shakespeare Happy Hour starting at 6 PM. Bring a picnic and settle in under the stars.
JUL 3: Moonlight Movies: Captain America at Danville Town Green
Danville's free outdoor movie series kicks off the month with family games at 6:30 PM followed by a screening around 8 PM on the Town Green.
JUL 4: Kiwanis-Danville 4th of July Parade
Head to Downtown Danville for the 51st annual hometown Independence Day parade — floats, bands, and red, white, and blue pride along Hartz Avenue from 9 AM to noon.
JUL 4: Comedy Uncorked @ Retzlaff Vineyards
Retzlaff Vineyards celebrates the 4th from 4–9 PM with live blues and jazz from the Matt Finders Blues & Jazz Band, BBQ, and estate-grown wine on the picnic grounds.
JUL 4: Blues Fest at the Fair at Alameda County Fairgrounds
No concert on the main stage this year, but the Alameda County Fair marks the 4th with a dedicated Blues Festival and patriotic programming throughout the fairgrounds.
JUL 4: July 4 at the Alameda County Fair
The Fair celebrates America's 250th anniversary with special patriotic activities all day, capped off by a Fireworks and Drone Spectacular Show over the Michelob Ultra Grandstand.
JUL 7: Tuesday Tunes at The Bankhead Theater
The Livermore Cultural Arts Council's free, family-friendly summer concert series continues at Bankhead Plaza in Downtown Livermore, 6:45–8:15 PM.
JUL 8: Flo Rida at Alameda County Fairgrounds
The "Low" and "Right Round" hitmaker headlines the Big O Tires Concert Series at the Alameda County Fair, bringing his signature crossover hip-hop and pop hits to the Cuervo Amphitheater.
JUL 9: Live Music Thursdays at Dust Bowl Brewing Co.
Local artists return to the Beer Garden stage at Dust Bowl's Livermore taproom for another no-cover Thursday night.
JUL 9: Dublin Summer Concert Series at Emerald Glen Park
Free Thursday-evening concerts at the Emerald Glen Park Amphitheater coincide with the Dublin Farmers' Market — this week featuring Amor Prohibido, a Selena tribute band.
JUL 10: Boyz II Men at Alameda County Fairgrounds
The best-selling R&B group of all time headlines the fair's closing weekend concerts, bringing four decades of harmony hits to the Big O Tires Concert Series.
JUL 11: McGrail Sunset Concert at McGrail Vineyards
McGrail Vineyards hosts a Sunset Concert featuring Island of Black and White, 6–9 PM, with wine, food trucks, and open-lawn seating overlooking the valley.
JUL 11: Music in the Park at Danville Town Green
Danville's free Saturday concert series returns with Mercy and the Heartbeats performing pop hits from the '70s through today, 6–8 PM on the Town Green.
JUL 12: Last Day of the Alameda County Fair
The 2026 Alameda County Fair wraps its run (June 19–July 12) with a closing-night DJ set from Cheat Codes, capping off 17 nights of concerts, carnival rides, and fair food.
JUL 14: Tuesday Tunes at The Bankhead Theater
Another free Tuesday evening of live music at Bankhead Plaza, 6:45–8:15 PM, courtesy of the Livermore Cultural Arts Council.
JUL 16: Dublin Summer Concert Series at Emerald Glen Park
This week's free Emerald Glen Park concert features Pop Fiction, a high-energy cover band performing dance hits from the '70s to today.
JUL 17: Moonlight Movies: Lilo & Stitch at Danville Town Green
Family games start at 6:30 PM followed by an outdoor screening of Lilo & Stitch around 8 PM on the Danville Town Green.
JUL 17: BUNCO Night at JMC Cellars
A fun, social dice game night at JMC Cellars — no previous experience needed. Snacks are included with admission, and wine is available by the glass or bottle.
JUL 18: Comedy Uncorked at Retzlaff Vineyards
Retzlaff Vineyards presents stand-up comedy in the vines, featuring Michael Booth, Candy Shaw, Mean Dave, and headliner Stephen B, with music from the Matt Finders band.

JUL 25: Beatles Tribute at Wente Family Vineyards
The Sun Kings, one of the country's premier Beatles tribute bands, bring note-for-note harmonies and era-perfect arrangements to the Wente concert lawn. Doors open at 6 PM, music starts at 8 PM.
JUL 28: Tuesday Tunes at The Bankhead Theater
The final Tuesday Tunes concert of July brings more free live music to Bankhead Plaza, 6:45–8:15 PM.
JUL 30: Dublin Summer Concert Series at Emerald Glen Park
The Unauthorized Rolling Stones close out July's Dublin concerts at Emerald Glen Park with a tribute to the Rolling Stones catalog.
JUL 30: Live Music Thursdays at Dust Bowl Brewing Co.
